| Welcome to the Rockledge Community |
|
Rockledge is a Pennsylvania community of 565 townhomes, in courtyards situated on old farmlands that extend across Hershey and Palmyra in Derry Township and North Londonderry Townships, along Lingle Avenue, between Routes 422 and 322. It is a community that still retains that rural character, replete with great lawns, common areas, and trees, some of them from the original farmlands. This green and arboreal landscape also attracts a variety of wildlife, from the usual squirrels to Cooper’s and Red-Tail Hawks, Great Horned Owls, and many colorful and unusual songbirds. The landscape invites the residents to many outdoor activities, including bicycling, jogging, walking and, in winter, snow-shoeing and cross country skiing. Rockledge is carefully overseen by an Association and its Board, so as to maintain the community’s beauty, character, and way of life. The Rockledge townhomes themselves, designed to capture the rural quality of the community, sit in small courtyard groups, set across the great commons. Each courtyard consists of groups of townhomes spaced out amidst the beautifully tended landscaping. There are four different models of these townhomes each with a detached garage: Many units have views of the great commons and adjacent farmlands, including a working horse farm. |
